Q: I have a PMA8000B which provides marker beacon visual lights and audible tones, so is there any added advantage to sending the marker beacon signals to the HS34?

A: Not particularly. It's just an added option for people who don't have the audible and visible annunciation already, but do have a marker beacon receiver.

Q: How does the HS34 use the marker beacon inputs?

A: It displays them on the HSI page, and also generates the marker tones through the HS34's audio output.
