Question: Would the wiring be the same for an SL-40 as for the SL-30?

Since the SL-40 is only a comm radio, there isn't much for the HS34 to do with it. The only support we have for it is the passing of frequencies from a Garmin X96 handheld to the SL-40. If you wish to do this, only the serial transmit line from the HS34 (pin 15) needs to be hooked to the receive pin on the SL-40 (pin 4).
